The 'Meezers

Jantsy curls up in her favorite spot on the top bunk of her kitty condo. Jantsy is a blue-point Siamese, and is approximately three years old. We adopted Jantsy from the Siamese Rescue Alliance in April, 1999. At the time, Jantsy was scared of everything and spent all her time hiding under the bed, but now is the most affectionate, loving cat we have. See The Story of Jantsy for more about her. Jantsy

Sapphire
Sapphire, here peeking over my shoulder, is a pure-bred seal-point Siamese. We adopted her in April, 1999, one week before Jantsy. Sapphire is the rowdiest of all the cats, and has only one speed: high. She never walks, but instead runs at full speed even if she is only going a few feet, and can jump higher than any of the cats despite her small size.

Rascal makes the long climb up the kitty condo to the top level. Although too small at this point to jump onto anything high, he is an inveterate climber, and can scale any object of any height. Rascal, like Sapphire, is a seal-point Siamese; however, he has the classic round apple-shaped head. We adopted Rascal in August, 1999. Rascal climbs up

Rascal prepares to pounce on an unsuspecting victim. Rascal shows no fear, and completely ignored the territorial hissing and growling from the other cats when he was first introduced to the household, quickly making friends with everyone. And he absolutely LOVES our dogs, rubbing lovingly against them every opportunity he can. Rascal

Always the climber, Rascal thwarts our security system by scaling the gate...
Almost there....
And he makes it to the top!

Jantsy on table
Jantsy stretches out on top of a table, hoping for belly rub.

Rascal and Jantsy confer with each other. All three Siamese are best of friends, and spend much of the day chasing each other around. Sapphire doesn't appear much on this page because she is too fast -- her pictures all turn out to be just a blur! Rascal and Jantsy

Rascal playing
Gotcha! Rascal shows the spring-mounted toy that he is just too fast for it.

Rascal close-up
Here's looking at you, kid! Rascal approaches for a closer look.
